About Our Director & Expertise
Our Director, Steve, began his career over 34 years ago under the Dulux training scheme. After five years with Dulux Trade, he transitioned into plumbing through the City & Guilds (C&G) training scheme and naturally progressed into bathroom fitting, gaining C&G qualifications in tiling and underfloor heating installation.
As our expertise expanded, we added C&G Level 1 & 2 carpentry, including kitchen fitting, to our growing portfolio. This led to a contract with Kier Group, renovating local authority homes. Over the years, SRD has also contracted for major brands, including MFI, Dolphin, Wickes, and Howdens. Today, we specialize in full bathroom and kitchen refurbishments, as well as extensions, loft conversions, and garage conversions.
Recently, our Director took on a Senior Project Manager role, overseeing the development of 85 apartments across two sites in Birmingham and Torquay. SRD was also entrusted with the design and construction of a show home—a testament to our ability to deliver high-quality, functional spaces.
